Remember When: MARITHE FRANCOIS GIRBAUD JEANS (Europe) were THE ONLY JEANS to wear?

Where does the time go? It seems like just yesterday Marithe Francois Girbaud Jeans were the only acceptable Jeans to wear if you were part of Boston's Fashionable Night Life Scene in the 1980s. A time when the Twenty-Something Set ventured into Fanuiel Hall, Newbury Street, Landsdowne Street or the Fenway Every Thursday thru Saturday night, for an evening of sipping cocktails at ourdoor bistros or dancing the night away at the popular clubs.

We have a lot more to share about these days gone by that all come to mind by seeing a certain brand name jean...Girbaud, the first of the DESIGNER JEANS. Long before Seven or Lucky Jeans existed, and before the days of Abercrombie and Hollister in every mall. These high-end jeans in the 1980s were all the rage.
